oh god char the first time I went to fanime I knew the person running it so she was begging and pleading with me to do it because every year there were more dudes then chicks. I turned her down because I’d just waste everyone’s time by snarking.
Yeah I would imagine so. Anime LA also had otaku speed dating and ran into similar issues of not having enough girls (and needed to ask random girls on the spot)
